Czech Days, Wilber, NE - August 6-8
Cheer on newly-crowned Miss Czech-Slovak IA, Beth Westlake at the Miss Czech Slovak US pageant in Wilber, NE. Wilber is known as the "Czech Capital of the USA" and hosts the Czech Days festival the weekend of the national pageant.

CHF Meeting - July 13
The July meeting will be held at the NCSML Kosek Building, 16th Ave. SW at 7:00 pm.

Houby Days - May 14-16
It's time for Houby Days! Come for breakfast, houby judging, live music and dancing, parades, carnival rides, and the Miss Czech-Slovak Iowa Pageant!

St. Joseph's Day Dance - March 21
Put on your dancing shoes -- Barefoot Becky is back for the annual St. Joseph's Day Dance! Join us for polka, drinks, refreshemnts, and some really great door prizes at this year's celebration. Funds raised from the event support CHF scholarship and homestay programs. We hope to see you there from 2:00 - 6:00 pm at Elks Lodge, 801 33rd Ave. SW, Cedar Rapids.

Czech School Chili Supper - March 13
Enjoy some delicious chili on Sunday, March 13 with the CHF! The organization is hosting its annual chili supper to fund the summer Czech School program, which is the longest-running language program in the United States! The supper will be held from 4:30 - 7:00 pm at St. Ludmila's Church.

Flood of 2008
As many know, Cedar Rapids has been dealing with the effects of a large flood that damaged nearly all parts of the city including Czech Village and the surrounding Czech community.
